Nelluvaya Dhanvantri Temple is dedicated to the Lord of Hindu medicine - Dhanvantri. He is considered as an avatar of Lord Vishnu. This temple is frequently visited by Ayurvedic doctors who offer their prayers here before commencing with their practice.A special medicated oil is given as prasad which is taken by devotees to get rid of any diseases ( Made of turmeric,pepper, curd and salt). This temple is in Thrissur district and located in between Thrissur and Guruvayur in Kerala.
